One of the biggest misconceptions about the Trump Accounts is that only newborns are eligible for them! While only children born between 2025 and 2028 are eligible for the federally-funded $1,000, you can register up to four children under the age of eighteen at a time to help you start saving for their futures. With up to $5,000 a year of tax-advantaged contributions, at the age of eighteen, your child will then be able to transition the account to a traditional IRA.
